Donations and Bequests

The Fleet Air Arm Officers Association maintains a small charitable fund. It is used to support Fleet Air Arm causes which remember the past or look to the future. The proceeds of our annual raffle, money from individuals and money from the general fund enable us to fund gliding scholarships for young people wanting to join the Fleet Air Arm, help deserving Sea Cadet Units with grants and support the Fly Navy Heritage Trust. It has also enabled us to help fund two Fleet Air Arm memorials, one on the Embankment in London and one at the National Memorial Arboretum.

Donations

If you would like to make a donation, please make cheques payable to Fleet Air Arm Officers Association. You will receive a thank you letter and the treasurer will ensure the money is placed in the charitable fund.

Bequests

By remembering the FAAOA in your will, you can help ensure we are able to continue our support to Fleet Air Arm causes.

The simplest and most straightforward legacy is a gift of money. Alternatively, you might choose to bequeath part of the residue of your estate. Using a solicitor is the best way to make sure your wishes will be followed. You may also wish to ask for donations made at your funeral to be gifted to the FAAOA.

In all instances cheques should be payable to Fleet Air Arm Officers Association.

All money donated or left in a will to the FAAOA goes into the charitable fund. It is never used for running costs.
